Follow these simple steps to get your temperature monitoring up and running
Connect your Freezerbot sensor to power using the included power adapter. Once powered, the LED on the front of the device will blink steadily once per second. It may take a minute for the sensor to start up the first time.
The steady blinking blue light (1 blink per second) indicates that your sensor is in setup mode and ready to be configured.
Locate the QR code on your sensor. Open your phone's camera app and scan this QR code.
This will connect you to the temporary WiFi network created by your sensor called "Freezerbot-Setup-XXXX".
If you can't scan the QR code, or you get a message saying you must manually connect to Freezerbot-Setup-XXXX, manually connect to the WiFi network in your device's WiFi settings. No password is required.
You may get a message saying you need to "Sign in to Network", click it to get to the Freezerbot Setup page.
After connecting to the sensor's WiFi, a setup page should open automatically in your browser. If it doesn't, open your browser and navigate to 192.168.4.1
On the setup page, you'll need to:
You can add as many WiFi networks as you'd like in case your sensor will be moving around to different locations.
After setup is complete, your sensor will attempt to connect to your WiFi network. The LED will change from blinking to solid when connected successfully.
Position the temperature probe inside your freezer:
The solid light indicates that your sensor is connected to WiFi and running correctly.
If you don't see a solid light after 2-3 minutes, you can re-enter Setup Mode by holding the button for 10 seconds and releasing. Make sure to watch the LED for 5 blinks before letting go.
Your Freezerbot account will automatically begin receiving temperature readings. Log in to view your data and set up temperature alerts.
